California-based writer and songwriter Deborah Crooks pens essays, reviews and occasional fiction for a variety of publications as well as her Bird in the Tree Substack newsletter.
An independent artist and life-long seeker currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area, she's recorded several albums of her own material and with the band Bay Station and co-creates its “Love the Bay” Music & Sailing Video series featuring notable Bay Area artists and writers.
