Celebrating 55 years at Worthy Farm, Glastonbury 2025 took over the 1,500 acres in Pilton, Somerset, England from June 25-29.

After another slate of top-tier talent from across genre lines, the beloved British festival will be undergoing a fallow year in 2026, marking the first planned period in eight years. Happening every five years, organizers use these off years to give the land, local population and organizers a break.

The 2025 edition of the well-loved event saw more than 90 acts grace the festival's 10+ stages, with The 1975, Neil Young, Charli XCX, Olivia Rodrigo and Rod Stewart all acting as headliners across the multi-day fest.

The long weekend also welcomed the likes of Noah Kahan, Shaboozey, Gracie Abrams, Lola Young, Myles Smith, Doechii, Brandi Carlile, Alanis Morissette, The Script and many more cross-genre stars.

Here, we'll have all the up-to-date news on line-up announcements, the latest ticket and festival pass details, and any further exciting info and details for 2026.

A major event in British culture, the first Glastonbury Festival–then called Pilton Festival–was held at Worthy Farm in September 1970. With performances by Tyrannosaurus Rex, Steamhammer, Quintessence, Stackridge, Al Stewart, Pink Fairies and Keith Christmas, the inaugural event was attended by 1,500 people.

In the years since, icons such as David Bowie, Sinéad O'Connor, Oasis, Radiohead, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, The Who, Jay-Z, Bruce Springsteen, U2, The Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, Elton John, Lana Del Rey, Guns N' Roses and a long list of others have graced the hallowed stage.

In addition to music, the festival hosts dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret and other arts, and has grown to be attended by more than 200,000 people
