“The Cutest Wrangler Set”: Anne Wilson Thanks Lainey Wilson for Her Heartwarming Gift and Announces Brand New Single, ‘God's Story’

Anne Wilson has expressed her gratitude after she received a Wrangler gift set from Lainey Wilson, with the latter partnering with the Western brand last year for a special range.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Anne Wilson has gushed, “The cutest @wrangler set!! Thank you @laineywilson”, alongside a photo of the stylish jeans and shirt combo.

The two artists have been friends for a while now, with Anne Wilson and Lainey Wilson - who are, incidentally, no relation - joining forces for the rousing, soul-stirring ‘Praying Woman’, one of the many stand-outs from the former's 2024 album, REBEL.

When Anne Wilson was making her foray into the country music space after becoming an established figure in the Contemporary Christian world, Lainey Wilson's co-sign was a key stepping-stone for Anne as she carved out her own unique path in the genre.

Excitingly, Anne Wilson has today (June 6th) confirmed that she'll be releasing her brand new single, ‘God's Story’, on June 20th. The previously teased track appears to be the lead single from the Kentucky singer-songwriter's REBEL follow-up album.

The lines between country and faith-inspired music have become increasingly blurred in recent months, with numerous artists releasing stellar tracks that have one foot in each sphere.

Anne Wilson will continue to cement her status as one of the most prominent artists blazing this genre-blending trail when she performs for stadiums on arguably the biggest country tour in the world this summer - Morgan Wallen's I'm the Problem run.

Given how outstanding REBEL was, and Anne Wilson's position as one of the leading voices in the crossover space between the country and Contemporary Christian genres, we can't wait to hear what the ‘Rain in the Rearview’ crooner has in store for us next.
