In her recent post to TikTok, Megan Moroney shared a promotional video of her newest single, 'You for Me (Smoky Mountain Demo).' Upon interacting with fans in the comments, Moroney had the funniest comeback for one curious fan in particular.
The TikTok video was an up-close shot of Moroney herself, monotonously singing to her latest single in a humorous fashion. As she lip-syncs the first line "I've been to Times Square on New Year's Eve," the 'Cloud 9' songstress matches the video by writing the playful caption "n case u were wondering!"
Moroney spent time replying to fans who found themselves in the comment section fresh off the excitement of the new song. Then, here came Keith to shoot his shot.
Keith, (who we've found is his first name based off his TikTok username), commented, "Looking for something very genuine," to which Moroney replied by hilariously quipping, "Aren't we all Keith."
The initial comment itself was frankly a bit strange and off kilter, being that the video Moroney posted warranted no sort of invitation for dating app type language from Keith. That being said, Moroney gracefully and hilariously moved the sort of awkward tension surrounding the comment away from her platform, and turned it into an iconic, laughable moment.
On the front of Moroney's actual dating life, we do hope the 'Tennessee Orange' vocalist is finding that genuineness in whatever relationship she is pursuing, no matter who she may be receiving it from. The latest updates of her love life are unheard of, being that Moroney has been keeping a relatively low dating profile in recent months.
Moroney just released her newest single 'You for Me (Smoky Mountain Demo)' on Nov. 6, which is now available for streaming everywhere.
