It seems we might be inching closer to an official air-date for Taylor Sheridan's eagerly anticipated Yellowstone spin-off, Dutton Ranch, starring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser as the fan-favourite characters, Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler respectively.

The couple ended Yellowstone Season 5 by moving to their own Montana ranch, hinting at a happy ending for them after years of chaos and destruction hampering their love-story.

Given the fiery, passionate nature of their romance and the drama they always seem to leave in their wake, it was inevitable that Beth and Rip would run into more trouble before too long. It seems we'll get to witness exactly what that entails on Dutton Ranch.

The official Instagram page for 1923, the beloved Yellowstone prequel starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, has now changed to Dutton Ranch, and they've shared a tantalising new teaser for the series. Alongside what appears to be the logo for Dutton Ranch, they've hinted that a premiere date is - hopefully - imminent.

In the caption, they announce, “Texas you’re on notice. Beth and Rip are coming”, adding confirmation that the series is “coming soon”. It comes after billboards featuring the same message were spotted near a Paramount+ event at the Fairmont Hotel.

By the looks of it, Beth and Rip might have moved further afield after purchasing the Dillon, Montana ranch in Yellowstone, with their tale seemingly shifting to Texas.

We don't have word yet on a release date, but with Taylor Sheridan's Marshals spin-off - starring Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton - currently in the middle of Season One and another story from the Yellowstone universe, The Madison, premiering later in March, we suspect we won't be getting Dutton Ranch for another few months.

Regardless, the anticipation is through the roof for the new show. Fans are already expressing their hope that Sheridan is the writer for Dutton Ranch, with the TV tycoon and real-life cowboy giving up his pen to a team for Marshals, with mixed responses. Beth and Rip are two of the most beloved characters from Yellowstone, and we're already counting down the days until the Season One drop date.
