After teasing their forthcoming collaboration across social media, Brandon Lake and Bailey Zimmerman have at long last given us the official release date for their duet, ‘Just Believe’. The soulful link-up is set to arrive this Friday, March 13th 2026.
The eagerly anticipated new track is expected to be the first single from Lake's rumoured country crossover project, with the Contemporary Christian Music trailblazer teasing material from a writing retreat with Zimmerman, Thomas Rhett, Lainey Wilson, Dan + Shay, Russell Dickerson and many other leading Nashville hitmakers.
Zimmerman is no stranger to making faith-based music, with the ‘Fall in Love’ chart-topper taking time out during all his live shows to reflect on God and Jesus’ impact on his life.
Judging by the snippet, the track isa perfect combination of Lake and Zimmerman respective styles. ‘Just Believe’ captures the former's ability to lace a sense of deep-seated reverence and emotional weight into the narrative, as well as showcasing Zimmerman's penchant for a striking, atmospheric delivery and composition.
To help add to the buzz around ‘Just Believe’, Zimmerman joined Lake on-stage during last night's show in Detroit, Michigan for the live debut of their brand new collaboration.
The crowd greeted Zimmerman's emergence with a roar of approval, and it's safe to say we're now counting down the days until we get the full studio version of ‘Just Believe’.
Following stellar collaborations with the likes of Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson and Gabby Barrett, we're looking forward to hearing Lake's next country-infused chapter of music.
