Carly Pearce delivered a show-stopping performance of the national anthem ahead of Game 3 of the Major League Baseball 2026 World Series.
At Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, the Tampa Bay Rays played the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday, October 26th, following Pearce’s stunning rendition of the country’s most precious song. This isn’t her first rodeo, so to speak, having also sung the anthem before Game 6 of the 2021 World Series, making her the perfect fit for the coveted spot.
Renowned for being a difficult song to deliver, many have fallen - quite literally - flat when taking on the mammoth task that is ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’, with its huge vocal ranges and tricky melodic leaps.
But not Carly Pearce.
The ‘Dream Come True’ singer received roaring applause and cheers as the song came to a close, having delivered a stellar performance. Pearce joins Mickey Guyton and Kylie Cantrall as national anthem singers in this World Series, each delivering a beautiful acapella rendition of the song.
You know what else we love about this performance? Her boyfriend, Jordan Karcher, being the biggest fanboy and cheerleader. He posted the event, saying, “If there’s an official singer of the national anthem, it’s @carlypearce 🇺🇸⚾️”.
Pearce’s latest album, Honest Woman, has been out since August 28th and she’s currently on tour with it in the States.
