Following his earlier win for Song of the Year, Cole Swindell has won the award for Single of the Year at the 2023 ACM Awards for his 12th No. 1 song, 'She Had Me At Heads Carolina.'

Included on his fourth studio album, Stereotype, 'She Had Me At Heads Carolina' was his fastest-rising single thus far. Spending four week at No. 1 last fall, the single harks back to Jo Dee Messina's 1996 hit 'Heads Carolina, Tails California.'

'She Had Me At Heads Carolina' beat out fellow nominees 'Heart Like A Truck' (Lainey Wilson), 'Never Wanted To Be That Girl' (Carly Pearce & Ashley McBryde), 'Thank God' (Kane Brown with Katelyn Brown) and ''Til You Can't' (Cody Johnson).

Swindell and Messina joined forced earlier in the night to perform the now 2x ACM Award-winning tune.
