After a stormy Saturday at Two Step Inn, Ella Langley was the first to welcome the sunshine, taking the main stage under clear afternoon skies on Sunday (April 21) and shining just as bright.

The star-on-the-rise hit the stage just as Rihanna sounded off the last “umbrella-ella-ella” over the large speakers, carrying with her a fiery confidence that would burn throughout her performance. Draped in all black, eyes shaded to the unrelenting sun, she was electrifying as she rattled off hits from her growing catalogue, and shared a taste of what fans can expect from her impending full-length debut.

From her heart-breaking opener ‘Paint The Town Blue’ to the exhilarating finale, a solo rendition of her Koe Wetzel duet ‘That's Why We Fight’, the audience was enraptured and eager for more.

During Ella Langley's performance, she warned the already-packed crowd, who were reflected back in her large lenses, that it was her fifth show in a row. She had played a South Carolina gig in support of Riley Green the night before. However, there was not a hint of exhaustion in Langley's sturdy, charismatic voice. Every song sounded fresh and every stage-commanding movement seemed effortless.

Throughout her set, she hinted at new music to come, playing a taste of what’s next with unreleased songs like ‘Blame the Bar’ and one seemingly entitled ‘You Better Be Tough.’

It was an exciting showcase from the emerging talent, which further solidified her one-to-watch status.
