Eric Church has earned a third nonconsecutive week atop the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart, with ‘Hands Of Time’ tallying 993,794 impressions from June 6th to 12th.
The Chief previously leapt to the pinnacle of the listing in May, before being knocked off the No. 1 spot by Ella Langley's viral single, ‘weren't for the wind’, the following week.
‘Hands Of Time’ serves as one of the many stand-outs from Church's new studio album, Evangeline vs. The Machine, which also spawned stellar offerings such as ‘Darkest Hour’, ‘Bleed On Paper’, ‘Rocket's White Lincoln’ and ‘Storm In Their Blood’.
Bailey Zimmerman and Luke Combs’ motivational anthem, ‘Backup Plan’, has to settle for second place on this frame, with the duet expected to hit the peak in the coming weeks.
Completing the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart Top Five is Tucker Wetmore's ‘3,2,1’, Langley's ‘weren't for the wind’ and Jelly Roll's ‘Heart of Stone’ at No. 3, 4 and 5 respectively.
The biggest mover this week is Scotty McCreery's ‘Bottle Rockets’ with Hootie & The Blowfish, which enjoys a whopping 213% increase in impressions to land at a new high of No. 14.
Unusually, there was just one new entry on this frame from Eric Church's ‘Johnny’ - another stunning track from Evangeline vs. The Machine - which slots in at No. 47.
