In a short clip posted to Instagram, Post Malone has teased his upcoming Eternal Buzz record, letting fans know the album is coming sooner rather than later.
The clip features Post jamming out to one of the songs that will be on the album, 'Bad Mood.' The 'Chemical' hitmaker writes as caption, "eternal buzz coming soon, love you mofo's #badmood."
At first listen of the clip, the song feels so very Post. It has been stated that Eternal Buzz will be taking listeners back to the 'Landmine' hitmaker's pop-rap roots.
The song feels very reminiscent of that, and after lots of push and pull on the current status of the album, as well as what's in the cards for Post moving forward, the clip feels as though things are officially in motion.
Not to mention, one of the songs on Post's recent scribbled whiteboard post of future tracks, 'Call You Back,' features Morgan Wallen as a writing credit, according to ASCAP repertory. So, when the album is officially released, fans will receive some version of a long-awaited continuation of Wallen and Post's artistry together.
For now, though, we're happy with a little snippet of the album to come. The lyrics we can currently pull from Post Malone's 'Bad Mood' are below.
"You got your mind made up, and if it's never gonna change
Then I guess I'm screwed
Yeah, baby, I'm doomed
Girl, I didn't think through
Walking out on you
What did I do?
But I never meant to
Go and throw it all away
What can I say?
Sorry, I was in a bad mood"
