Are Florida Georgia Line back? That was likely the question on everyone's mind when Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley reunited onstage at CRS 2026.

On the Thursday night (Mar. 19) of the country radio industry event, the duo came together for a surprise celebration of Jason Aldean's staggering 31 No. 1 singles. There, the pop-country pairing performed the hitmaker-of-honor's 2018 triumph, 'You Make It Easy'.

FGL not only played a hand in co-writing that particular track, their relationship with Aldean can be traced back to the MySpace days when the artist apparently discovered a tune Hubbard had posted to the early social media platform.

It wasn't long before the band acted as direct support for the star on his 2014 Burn It Down Tour. The duo would then go on to collaborate on various other Aldean numbers, with the country heavyweight even contributing to the band's own 'Can't Hide Red' from their 2019 album, Can't Say I Ain't Country.

"Man, it feels good to be here tonight," Hubbard addressed the crowd – but not really the elephant in the room – ahead of their performance. "It feels good to be here with my brother to celebrate our other brother."

He went on to share his appreciation for the man who played such a massive role in their early career as a group, saying, "Jason, I just want to say thank you for believing in us, for taking us on tour. Thank you for cutting a few of our songs. Honestly, you were the first artists to ever cut one of my songs, so I just want to say thank you for finding my tune on MySpace. We love you, buddy. Congratulation, man. You should be super proud. We're proud to call you a friend and a brother."

Just after, Brian Kelley included his own quick show of affection, sharing, "Love you, J. Beyond proud of you brother."

Then, they put on a heartfelt showcase of 'You Make It Easy', Hubbard and Kelley sharing the stage as if it was like riding a bike.

After more than four years since announcing their hiatus in August 2022, this reunion came as an even bigger shock to the crowd as the party was to Aldean himself, who even came onstage after their performance to ponder whether or not this soiree was the thing that got the band back together.

Well, Jason, we're wondering the same thing.
