Garth Brooks has added two new shows to his brand new Blame It All On My Roots Arena Tour, which kicks off in Indianapolis this August 2026.
Gainbridge Fieldhouse originally had two dates to kick off the tour - Saturday August 21st and Sunday August 22nd - but with a soaring 400,000 fans in the Ticketmaster queue, Brooks has added not one, but two more shows to his opening stint.
First, a matinee performance was added on Sunday August 23rd (and, might we add, we’re here for a matinee). Then, when that still didn’t cover demand, a new opening night was added, meaning the tour will kick off a day earlier on Friday, August 20th in Indianapolis.
His team captioned the announcement on socials with: “No one was prepared for this. Nearly 400,000 in the Ticketmaster queue. Your patience is so appreciated. This is crazy! THANK YOU!”
The ‘Friends In Low Places’ singer has been vocal about his opinions on ticket pricing and adding more dates reaffirms that his thoughts are very much in favour of his fans’ experience.
