After weeks of speculation, Garth Brooks has officially announced his 2026 Blame It All On My Roots Tour, which kicks off on August 21st with back-to-back nights in Indianapolis.
It follows the mysterious countdown that appeared on Brooks’ website last month, with fans wondering if he was teasing a new CD boxset, a Sphere residency or a streaming-wide release of his catalogue. Now, he has confirmed it is a 2026 arena tour.
Speaking ahead of the announcement, the ‘If Tomorrow Never Comes’ hitmaker shared, “Going back into the arenas is about putting the stadium show in a box. The excitement gets multiplied by the intimacy. Every seat is a great seat. This is personal”.
The new tour is set to mirror the 1996 Drum Pod tour, which spawned the biggest-selling live album of all time, Double Live, with Brooks bringing back his iconic drum cage.
Brooks’ 2026 Blame It All On My Roots Tour opens at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indiana, Indianapolis on August 21st and 22nd. To fans’ surprise, these are the only confirmed shows right now, but we imagine there will be plenty more tour-stops to come soon.
We suspect Brooks is gearing up to release another live album off the back of his Blame It All On My Roots run, with the official press release hinting at a new project called Killer Live.
Tickets to Brooks’ Indiana shows go on General Sale on Friday, July 17th at 10am ET. All tickets are $154.00 - plus applicable taxes - with an eight-ticket limit per customer.
