For much of 2025, Gavin Adcock has been consistently unveiling one rowdy hit after the other, the irreverent star dropping disorderly bangers like 'On One', 'Morning Bail', and just now, 'Last One to Know'.
It was recently announced that this smattering of singles will culminate in the artist's upcoming Own Worst Enemy, his third full-length release and sophomore collection under the tutelage of Warner Music Nashville.
The album will feature 24 tracks, including eight of his previously released songs, like the aforementioned offerings, as well as 'Need To', 'Never Call Again' and 'Unlucky Strikes' among others.
"Over the last 4 years I’ve spent my life writing, traveling, and trying to find time to breathe," the artist shared of the forthcoming release in a post on social media. "It doesn’t always add up on paper like it would seem, but through the happiness, hard times and self destruction I’ve found the best part of my job is letting out music for my fans. I can’t thank y’all enough for sticking with me for this long. I’m the furthest thing from perfect and I don’t ever plan to be."
It's not that we, at Holler, aren't thrilled about the upcoming release from the highly buzzed about newcomer, it's just that we're not sold on its length. A 24-track album is a lot for even a seasoned country veteran, and Adcock has only just now gotten a taste of stardom thanks to his brand of unruly country rock.
Yes, he's been consistently satiating fans with songs about those hit-the-bottle kind of heartaches, the all night benders and mornings spent behind bars. If that's all he's had up his sleeve this whole time, though, will that be enough for 16 more tracks?
Own Worst Enemy arrives on August 15.
