The Chicks are heading back on tour in 2026, with the trailblazing trio - consisting of Natalie Maines, Martie Maguire and Emily Strayer - embarking on a newly unveiled run of shows to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their 2006 album, Taking the Long Way.

The project remains one of the most iconic records in the country canon, with Taking the Long Way spawning much-loved hits such as ‘Not Ready to Make Nice’ and ‘Lullaby’.

Of course, we imagine attendees at these shows will also be treated to live-wire performances of other wildly popular country anthems, such as ‘There's Your Trouble’, ‘Goodbye Earl’, ‘Landslide’, ‘Wide Open Spaces’ and ‘Cowboy Take Me Away’.

Kicking off on September 20th at Detroit's Fox Theatre, the expansive series of tour-stops will take The Chicks across Chicago, Washington, New York, San Antonio and more this Fall.

Based on the Pre-Sale sign-ups alone, demand is shaping up to be through-the-roof, with The Chicks already adding a third date at New York's Beacon Theatre on October 10th.

Artist Pre-Sale

The official Artist Pre-Sale starts on Wednesday, June 3rd at 10am local time. To gain access to this, you need to have signed up to The Chicks’ Artist Pre-Sale via THIS LINK. Please note that sign-up for this Pre-Sale closed on Sunday, May 31st.

If you signed up in time, please note that you won't be receiving a Pre-Sale code. Rather, your access is tied to your account, and anyone who has signed up can join the Pre-Sale.

Public On-Sale

If you didn't manage to sign up in time, or you weren't successful in snagging tickets in the Artist Pre-Sale, don't panic yet. There is still the Public On-Sale, which opens on Thursday, June 4th at 10am local time and is available to anyone. Good luck!
