Ella Langley has shared a brief clip of an unreleased track, with the ‘you look like you love me’ singer-songwriter hinting at her next single from her new studio album, Dandelion.
The Alabama native's eagerly anticipated sophomore project arrives on April 10th, 2026, which means there's plenty of time for another single or two to drop before the full record.
The new song snippet has been accompanied by a clip of Langley dancing while silhouetted against a red backdrop. There are no lyrics in the video, but the ‘Choosin‘ Texas’ hitmaker has included a subtle clue that we think tells us which song she is teasing.
Langley has tagged HARDY, Jordan Schmidt and Smith Ahnquist in the newly shared clip. These same four writers are credited on an unreleased song on ASCAP, titled ‘Be Her’.
Eagled-eyed fans will remember that this title, ‘Be Her’, appears on the number-plate in Langley's music video for ‘Dandelion’, the title-track from the forthcoming album.
We reckon this all means that ‘Be Her’ will be the next song to be released from Dandelion. It's unclear as of yet whether HARDY will be a featured vocalist, as well as a writer, but we do know the country-rock maverick has been working with Langley a lot of late.
The duo collaborated on ‘Never Met Anyone Like You’ late last year. At the time, that track was expected to be the lead single from Langley's new album. but after ‘Choosin’ Texas’ took off a few weeks later, emerging as one of the biggest songs of 2026, it seems the spotlight has been shifted from ‘Never Met Anyone Like You’. The HARDY duet does not even appear to be on the Dandelion tracklist.
‘Choosin’ Texas’ is currently vying for the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100, with Langley's Lone Star State-inspired earworm battling it out with Olivia Dean's ‘The Man I Need’ for the coveted No. 1. It would mark Langley's first song to reach the peak.
At the moment, we reckon ‘Be Her’ is going to be a Langley solo track. Regardless, though, it seems there's thankfully a lot more music to look forward to from the country trailblazer in the weeks leading up to the release of Dandelion in mid-April.
