Jelly Roll's official Grand Ole Opry induction date has been set for March 10th, with his good friend and ‘Save Me’ collaborator, Lainey Wilson, welcoming him into the Opry family.

Jelly was surprised with the news that he'd be the latest artist to join the hallowed institution back in December 2025, via a heartfelt video message from one of the ‘Need a Favor’ singer-songwriter's biggest country influences, Craig Morgan.

The unexpected invitation arrived during Jelly's conversation with Joe Rogan for the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, with Morgan serving as the perfect person to break the news.

Jelly often speaks about the “life-changing” moment he witnessed Morgan performing ‘Almost Home’ from the Opry audience when he had just been released from prison. Many years later, Morgan surprised Jelly on-stage at the Opry for a duet of that same song, before presenting Jelly with a handwritten framed lyrics sheet.

Aptly, Morgan will be perform on Jelly's induction date, along with another of the genre-blurring maverick's closest buddies, ERNEST, and country chart-topper, Leanne Morgan.

ERNEST co-wrote Jelly's first Country Radio hit, ‘Son of a Sinner’, back in 2023. It was a song that laid the foundation for the former rapper's transition into the Music City scene.

Jelly continues to be a beacon of light both in the country music landscape and on the world stage, with the Nashville native carrying out philanthropic work relating to the criminal justice system, even donating one of his GRAMMYs to a Nashville prison.

In a statement, the Opry has confirmed a portion of tickets from Jelly's Opry induction will go towards “the Judge Dinkins Educational Center, a cause very close to Jelly Roll’s heart”.
