Update: Jessie Murph has now confirmed the release date for ‘Touch Me Like a Gangster’, along with her third studio album, ‘Sex Hysteria’. Full details here.

After the immense popularity of her two latest singles, ‘Gucci Mane’ and ’Blue Strips’, Jessie Murph is not showing any signs of slowing down. The Alabama prodigy has started teasing a brand new unreleased track, titled ‘Touch Me Like a Gangster’.

Although it wasn't always the case, in recent months, Murph has had a relatively good track record of not leaving her fans hanging for too long before dropping a release date.

We're therefore hoping the ‘Someone in This Room’ singer-songwriter will announce when ‘Touch Me Like a Gangster’ - which is already showing signs of going viral, much like ‘Gucci Mane’ and ‘Blue Strips’ - will be dropping in the coming weeks.

On the newly shared track, Jessie Murph returns to the gritty, sultry space of ‘Gucci Mane’, suggesting once again that her forthcoming project will be a concept album.

Across a swaggering, uptempo instrumental, Jessie Murph addresses her lover and makes it clear what she expects from the night ahead, crooning, “I like whips and chains, I like being tied to things / Boy, I like some pain, turn me upside down on swings baby / I'd like to know, how far you gon' go? / How far we gon' go?”

As she approaches the addictive chorus, the ‘High Road’ chart-topper goes on, “I'll tell you this much / I do not give a fuck / I want you on your worst behavior / Touch me like a gangster / Rock me, baby boy, give it hell / This bed ain't gon' break itself”

With a slew of her ‘Touch Me Like a Gangster’ snippets already surpassing the one-million-views mark on TikTok, despite being posted just a few days ago, it looks like this eagerly awaited new track is set to emulate the success of ‘Gucci Mane’ and ‘Blue Strips’.

The latter was recently given an electric, trap-inspired remix by Sexyy Red, with Murph's next studio album seemingly set to blur the lines between R&B, country and hip-hop.
