Kelsea Ballerini has replied to a fan’s comment letting everyone know she is firmly back in the studio and new music is on the way.
Her latest carousel of pictures document her time over in Paris for Fashion Week, where Ballerini donned some stunning outfits, rocked some major glam looks and bid bonjour to the Eiffel Tower.
But the fans are keenly awaiting her next project and, as we approach the one-year anniversary of her last project, Mount Pleasant, they grow ever more expectant.
“That’s beautiful but Kelsea I need new music asap,” one fan commented. To which Ballerini replied, “twas my 6 day studio break, heading back now 😘🎶”.
A photo dump from earlier in September showed what looked like her writing music and hanging out with long time producer and co-writer, Alyssa Vanderheym.
Ballerini, known for her intense vulnerability that translates into highly emotive and relatable music, has been relatively quiet this music season. Her live performances have been selective this year, with the majority of her time spent in New York where she’s laid low.
What now? Well, we wait patiently for what is bound to be an evocative collection of Ballerini’s love, loss and healing. We’ll keep the tissues handy.
