During her new conversation with Theo Von on the latter's This Past Weekend podcast, Lainey Wilson has hilariously recalled the time HARDY took her to a strip club while on tour.

While Theo and Lainey were looking through some amusing song-titles, ‘Gravy on My Guitar’ piqued the ‘4X4XU’ hitmaker's interest, and reminded her of the bizarre strip club trip.

The Louisiana native explained, “‘Gravy on My Guitar’, it just reminds me. HARDY took me and some of my crew to a strip club in Huntsville, and they have biscuits and gravy night...on Thursday nights...He gave me 100 ones, and it was like, ‘Have fun’”.

Lainey went on, “It was, like, my end-of-tour gift”, before clarifying that they didn't end up going to the biscuits and gravy-themed show, “Well, it wasn't biscuits and gravy night that night, we had just missed it. This was like a Friday night or something”.

The 2023 CMA Entertainer of the Year winner then revealed that the reality was very different from how she pictured the show, “I don't know if this is true or not, but they were like, ‘Y'all gotta come back for biscuits and gravy night’, blah, blah, blah. And I thought, ‘That's nice’, you know, sit around eating some biscuits and gravy. No, they're rolling around in the gravy, and people are throwing the biscuits”.

HARDY and Lainey Wilson toured together back in the Fall of 2023 for the former's the mockingbird & The CROW run, which served as the country-rock maverick's first ever arena tour, and featured stops in places such as Tennessee, Ohio and South Carolina. We imagine this was when the amusing strip club visit took place, with the duo performing in Huntsville, Alabama near the end of the tour.

Elsewhere during their conversation, Lainey Wilson showed Theo Von the ring with which her fiancé, Devlin ‘Duck’ Hodges, proposed to her, gushing how he designed it for her. Excitingly, Lainey also shared that she's “already working on that next record”.

This light-hearted interview took place around the release of Lainey's eagerly awaited Whirlwind (Deluxe) album, featuring five extra tracks, including ‘Peace, Love, and Cowboys’, ‘King Ranch, King George, King James’ and ‘Somewhere Over Laredo’.
