After teasing a collaboration with Gabby Barrett across socials, Brandon Lake has today (Monday, June 16th) made the track available to stream as part of his surprise King Of Hearts (Full Deck Deluxe) album, which also features two other brand new songs.

Brandon Lake has recruited Gabby Barrett for the soul-stirring new ballad, ‘As For Me & My Home’, which finds the two trailblazers reflecting on how their respective families ensure faith is at the heart of everything they do (“Of all the things I've prayed, what matters most to me / Is that those I love with love the Lord / That every branch and leaf upon this family tree / Will find you of your own accord”).

The message behind ‘As For Me & My Home’ is made all the more moving by the fact that Brandon Lake and Gabby Barrett have three children apiece. It feels as though they are singing directly to their loved ones throughout this newly unveiled track.

We got the first teaser of ‘As For Me & My Home’ over the weekend, with Brandon Lake hinting in the caption, “Could there be a queen on the King Of Hearts Deluxe record?!”

Now, ‘As For Me & My Home’ has been released across all streaming platforms, with Brandon Lake treating listeners to an unexpected expanded version of his new album, King Of Hearts.

The original project arrived on Friday, and features Lake's viral Jelly Roll collaboration, ‘Hard Fought Hallelujah’, with the Contemporary Christian maverick gifting listeners an extra eight tracks, including ‘As For Me & My Home’ with Gabby Barrett.

In addition, King Of Hearts (Full Deck Deluxe) includes two other original songs, ‘1,000,000 Reasons Why’ and ‘Golgotha’, along with Live From The Record Reveal rendition of ‘SEVENS’, ‘But God’ and ‘Daddy's DNA’. There's also a recording of Brandon Lake and Breanna Nix's performance of the latter from American Idol, and lastly, closing out the new body of work, the solo version of ‘Hard Fought Hallelujah’.
