Morgan Wallen's final stop of his 2026 Still the Problem Tour was already set to be a special occasion, but Wallen made it all the more meaningful for all the Philadelphia Eagles fans in attendance by paying homage to the team's late NFL star, Reggie White.

White, nicknamed the ‘Minister of Defense’ due to his role as both a formidable defensive player and the fact that he had been an ordained evangelical minister since 17 years old, remains a beloved player in the Eagles canon. White died in 2004 at the age of 43.

The reason he is presumably a revered figure for Wallen, too, is his three-year stint at the Tennessee Volunteers. Wallen is a well-known Vols aficionado, regularly donning their jerseys, being spotted at games and even incorporating them into his songwriting.

Numerous fans online have praised Wallen's decision to show love to White by wearing a green Eagles jersey with his name on the back during his Lincoln Financial Field show.

White was a celebrated character in Philadelphia, but also sparked widespread controversy for his comments in a 1998 speech, during which he condemned homosexuality and gave what many criticised as stereotypical comments about various ethnic groups.

Elsewhere in his colossal double-header, Wallen teamed up with Ella Langley for their traditional performance of ‘I Can't Love You Anymore’, as well as bringing out Hudson Westbrook and Blake Whiten for the rowdy, party-starting earworm, ‘Up Down’.

In addition, Wallen serenaded the packed-out crowd at the home of the Philadelphia Eagles to fan-favourites such as ‘Sand in My Boots’, ‘Cover Me Up’, ‘Don't We’ and more.

It marks the end of an impressive run of stadium shows from the ‘Last Night’ chart-topper. Now, with the arrival of ‘Been By Now’, the first single from his next chapter, fans will be hoping Wallen uses his time away from the road to record some more new music, ahead of unveiling his keenly awaited I'm the Problem follow-up album.
