Morgan Wallen's titanic 2025 I'm the Problem Tour has drawn to a close, with the Sneedville native delivering the final show of this run in Edmonton, Canada this past weekend.
As has become tradition for his last show, Wallen eschewed the A-list guests and superstars that have flanked him throughout the tour, and instead walked out at Commonwealth Stadium alongside his band, with every member proudly brandishing a cigar.
During his rip-roaring set, which featured a slew of stand-outs from Wallen's lauded 2025 album, I'm the Problem, the ‘I Got Better’ crooner took a moment to express his gratitude to his loyal ’Wallenteer’ fanbase for their support over the past year or so.
Wallen gushed, “Whenever we started this year, you know, we scheduled a lot fewer shows than we normally play, and I was kind of torn about it. I didn't know how I was going to feel, I didn't know if I was going to be, you know, thankful or what”.
He expanded, “I didn't know if I was going to be super energetic. But I feel like this was a perfect number of shows, and I feel...I almost want to keep playing more shows, you know, so I think that's a good place to leave this year at. And I just want to say thank you guys for the energy that you guys have brought me this entire year. I don't think there's a better fanbase on the entire planet than the one that I have, so thank you guys for that. We're gonna play a bunch of songs tonight”.
Based on the official stadium capacities and the fact that this was a sold-out tour, the ‘Thought You Should Know’ singer-songwriter has played to more than a million fans over the course of the limited series of dates, which saw Wallen cutting back on shows compared to the expansive, globe-trotting tours we've become used to.
Attendees have been able to enjoy a dizzying array of special on-stage collaborations, including Ella Langley, Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert and many more, as well as a plethora of surprise pre-show walk-out link-ups with the likes of Drake, Mattress Mack, Marshawn Lynch, George Kittle, Brett Favre and Andre Johnson.
It remains to be seen what Wallen has in store for 2026, but we're certainly hoping he has his sights set on a more global run of shows, with his European and Australian fanbases eager to welcome the ‘Last Night’ chart-topper back to their shores.
Until we get an announcement, Wallen will be taking some well-earned time away from tour, with the country trailblazer currently readying the music video for ‘20 Cigarettes’. There's no release date yet, but we imagine it'll be dropping in the coming weeks.
