Post Malone just treated the Walmart Associates Celebration at Arkansas’ Bud Walton Arena to a spectacular duet with Noah Kahan, with the duo performing their hit single, ‘Dial Drunk’.

It marks the first time Post and Noah have performed the heartbroken offering since they joined forces in Boston almost two years ago, shortly after the song's release.

Noah Kahan's emergence during Post Malone's histrionic, hit-filled set was particularly unexpected, given this was a closed event honouring associates at Walmart, rather than a regular tour-stop on Post's sprawling Big Ass Stadium Tour with Jelly Roll.

Nonetheless, we welcome any opportunity we get to witness these two genre-blurring titans in action, with this reimagined version of ‘Dial Drunk’ serving as one of the first tentative forays into the country and folk-leaning sphere from Post Malone.

It remains one of the many stand-out tracks from Noah Kahan's wildly popular 2023 record, Stick Season (We'll All Be Here Forever), with the Post Malone-assisted ‘Dial Drunk’ kicking off a now-iconic run of duets from Kahan, including ‘She Calls Me Back’ with Kacey Musgraves, ‘Northern Attitude’ with Hozier and more.

We're hoping this isn't the only time we get to hear Post Malone's unmistakable, charismatic vibrato combining with Noah Kahan's rich, evocative vocals, with Post and Noah undoubtedly two of the most versatile artists in today's music industry.

With both currently working on new albums, perhaps they'll find time around performances in the coming weeks to spend some time writing together - or, who knows, maybe the reason they were together in Arkansas was because they've already recorded a new collaboration. Call it wishful thinking, call it manifestation - either way, we're keeping our fingers crossed we'll get a ‘Dial Drunk’ follow-up one day.
