Morgan Wallen is currently gearing up to kick off one of the biggest tours of 2025, with the Sneedville megastar launching his I'm the Problem run with a double-header in Houston.
As the excitement continues to build, the ‘Last Night’ chart-topper has shared a nostalgic trailer video for the tour, which begins with a clip from a 2019 show at a tiny, intimate venue. It gradually transitions to a clip of Wallen wandering through the middle of Texas’ NRG Stadium, which can fit around 72,000 adoring fans per night.
It captures just how impressive Morgan Wallen's rise has been over the past few years, with the country titan cementing himself as one of the most revered names in modern music.
Heartwarmingly, one of Wallen's best friends, HARDY, has taken to the comments of this new clip to share his admiration for his pal, and to reveal that he was at the 2019 show that features in the emotional clip, “I was there ❤️ Proud of you man”.
As this comment highlights, Morgan Wallen and HARDY have been close buddies for years, with the latter even making a cameo in the music video for one of Wallen's first hits, ‘Whiskey Glasses’. HARDY also co-wrote a range of material from the ‘Love Somebody’ hitmaker's debut album, If I Know Me, such as the rowdy ‘Up Down’.
Since then, their collaborative partnership has only grown stronger, with HARDY and Wallen joining forces for now-iconic earworms such as ‘He Went to Jared’, ‘red’, ‘In The Bible’ and most recently, ‘Come Back As A Redneck’ from I'm the Problem.
We have HARDY to thank for one of the many stand-outs from the album, ‘I'm a Little Crazy’, which he co-wrote with Wallen, Smith Ahnquist, Hunter Phelps and Jameson Rodgers.
Alongside ERNEST, Morgan Wallen and HARDY have cemented themselves as some of the most influential songwriters and artists in the contemporary country scene, with the trio boasting a dizzying, unparalleled array of No. 1 hits among them.
Although HARDY has now evolved into a headlining artist in his own right, and therefore doesn't tend to open for Morgan Wallen any more, we're hoping the country-rock maverick finds time to reunite on-stage with Wallen during the I'm the Problem tour.
With HARDY readying his QUIT!! follow-up album, and seemingly teasing a return to country music following his foray into the rock world, we'll be keeping our fingers crossed that he has another stellar Morgan Wallen collaboration on the horizon.
