Tucker Wetmore may have just released his first full-length studio album, What Not To, last Friday (April 25th), but it seems the ‘Brunette’ crooner has a few more treats up his sleeve.
The Washington prodigy has added two bonus tracks to the digital album version of What Not To, ‘Don't That Sound Like Us’ and the initial demo of ‘Wine Into Whiskey’.
These newly shared offerings are exclusively available to those that purchase the digital album via Tucker Wetmore's online store, with the project currently on-sale for $9.99.
It's fascinating hearing the original rendition of ‘Wine Into Whiskey’, which Tucker Wetmore began teasing back in December 2023 before dropping it as his debut single the following February. It went immensely viral in the weeks leading up to its streaming release, with the brooding, post-break-up earworm setting the tone for Wetmore's subsequent, trap-infused country hits such as ’What Would You Do?’
In addition to ‘Wine Into Whiskey (Demo)’, Wetmore has included an early draft of ‘Drinkin’ Boots’ on all versions of What Not To, along with live renditions of ‘Break First’ and ‘Wind Up Missin’ You’. What Not To is predicted to slot in at No. 15 on the all-genre Billboard 200 next week, with Wetmore hoping that the introduction of these bonus tracks will give the project an extra boost before the chart is finalised.
The genre-blending project has been met with widespread acclaim and fanfare, with What Not To cementing Tucker Wetmore's status as one of the genre's next big stars.
