The Teskey Brothers Captivate the Heineken Stage Crowd at NOS Alive 2025

The Teskey Brothers delivered a soulful masterclass during the second day of Portugal's NOS Alive Festival 2025, with the Australian duo serenading the packed-out Heineken Stage crowd with fan-favourites such as ‘Paint My Heart’ and ‘I Get Up’.

Although Josh Teskey often receives most of the spotlight, courtesy of his enchanting rasp and charismatic stage presence, what was striking about this performance was how equally Josh and Sam rely on one another to produce their distinct sound.

Sam's playing is given such a prominent role within the soaring euphony, that it often makes these songs feel as though they're duets between Josh's vocals and Sam's electric guitar.

As the excitement built ahead of The Teskey Brothers emerging the Heineken Stage was as packed as it's been all weekend, with attendees spilling outside of the imposing tent.

Regardless of whether they were drawing from their lauded debut or their more recent material, it didn't really matter which specific song The Teskey Brothers were performing.

Each track melted sumptuously into the other, with Josh regularly elongating the outro as much as possible with his sinuous, warbled croons, and Sam injecting an added sense of verve and energy into the set with his spellbinding guitar solos.

From start to finish, it was evident just how immersed both Josh and Sam were in the music, with the former falling to his knees on more than one occasion after feeling moved by the arrangement. Josh's rip-roaring harmonica solo was a fantastic party-piece in the set, with the crowd rapt by these two virtuosos showcasing their skills.

It served as one of the many highlights from Lisbon's NOS Alive 2025 so far, with ticket-holders also witnessing electrifying sets from Noah Kahan, Olivia Rodrigo, Benson Boone, Mark Ambor and more over the course of the three-day extravaganza.
