Tucker Wetmore has found a creative and very engaging way to announce his next project.

The ACM New Male Artist of the Year revealed the six songs from his upcoming Sunburn Mixtape across his back, with the artwork showing the singer shirtless on a beach as each title appears to have been sunburned into his skin, a clever nod to his track "Sunburn". It’s definitely an image that's almost impossible to scroll past.

The six track EP arrives on July 31. Mixing three songs fans have already been treated to with 3 brand new tracks, it's an interesting approach from Wetmore being we were expecting an immediate album follow-up to his 2025 debut album, What Not To.

His most recent single 'Who Told You That' is one of his smoothest sounding releases yet, addressing the rumours surrounding a reputation in favour of letting someone get to know the real him. Commercially it's gone down a treat - becoming the most added song at country radio during its opening week and giving Wetmore the biggest radio launch of his career.

It's not done too badly critically either, with Holler's own Alex Sharp giving the song a 3.5 / 5 and saying "If someone played this to me and told me it was a new Maroon 5 track, I probably would've believed them, but I can't deny how catchy it is".

It’s hard to write about about Tucker Wetmore and not address the musician and country music fan who, only a couple of years ago, was introducing himself with 'Wine Into Whiskey' and 'Wind Up Missin' You'.

Fast forward to today and he already has three consecutive No. 1 country radio singles, more than 2.4 billion global career streams, an ACM New Male Artist of the Year trophy and one of the fastest growing fanbases anywhere in the genre.

What's most impressive is the pace he's releasing music while maintaining a level of quality control not seen too much elsewhere.

His debut album, What Not To, became the biggest country album released by a new artist in 2025, debuting at No. 15 on the Billboard 200. These weren't just any old songs, but hits. Every. Single. Time.

Releasing two other singles this year so far, 'Sunburn' feels like a soundtrack of the summer, while 'Proving Me Right' shows the more vulnerable songwriter that first connected with fans through his debut EP Waves On A Sunset.

The three unheard songs remain a mystery for now, although the titles 'Crazy To Yourself', '98%' and 'YOURS' suggest Wetmore is continuing to balance feel good country summer anthems with the emotional storytelling that's quickly become one of his trademarks.
