Zach Bryan is keeping his hot streak of releases going strong, with the country-folk megastar announcing that he will be dropping ‘Bowery’ with Kings of Leon this Friday (August 8th).

Bryan has cited the legendary rock band as one of his favourite artists since the early days of his career, with the ’Something in the Orange’ singer-songwriter going on to share the stage with the ‘Sex on Fire’ hitmakers on a number of occasions.

Just a few weeks ago, for instance, he brought out Kings of Leon - as well as Gabriella Rose and Bruce Springsteen - during the spectacular third night of his MetLife Stadium run.

Bryan has been teasing ‘Bowery’ for months now, with the track initially thought to feature up-and-coming artist, Joshua Slone. In a flurry of social media posts shared last month, he revealed that ‘Bowery’ would be featured on his next “record”.

Taking to socials, Bryan has underlined how much this new collaboration means to him, donning it the “Honor of my life”. On X (formerly Twitter), the Oklahoma native has added a reminder for fans that “With Heaven On Top is out January 9th”.

It remains unclear whether With Heaven On Top is an EP - as it was originally believed to be - or whether this is his follow-up album to 2024's The Great American Bar Scene.

The fact that we're having to wait almost half a year before getting to hear With Heaven On Top makes us think this is most likely the album. We suspect Bryan's previously teased EP has either been scrapped, or is being readied for a surprise drop.

In the past, Zach Bryan has hinted that his next album would be called Motorbreath, after sharing a clip from a Matthew McConaughey-voiced introduction to a film of the same name about its creation. A few months later, Bryan renewed his deal with Warner Records, and it looks like the rollout was subsequently altered.

Regardless, Bryan's reiteration that With Heaven On Top will be arriving on January 9th, 2026 appears to be confirmation that ‘Bowery’ will be included on that project. We imagine it will be joined by the recently released ’Madeline’ with Gabriella Rose.
