Morgan Wallen's father, Tommy Wallen, has shared the 10th episode of his Tommy's Sunday Seven podcast.

Tommy Wallen releases a weekly episode of Tommy's Sunday Seven every Sunday on 'Morgan Wallen Radio' via SiriusXM. This week, the father of the country superstar continues his lessons of biblical creation by delving into Genesis chapter 2.

Tommy opens with the famous scripture theme of God making woman both from and for man as a means for companionship, which is described as necessary for all humans, and according to Tommy, helps to battle the devil's attempts at isolating humans.

He references this staple point in biblical creation by reciting Genesis chapter 2, verses 20-21, which read: It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him. So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh.

Tommy gives a full analysis of these verses by first making note of the plethora of names God gives himself throughout the bible, one of them being "Yahweh" or "the self-existent One," as according to Genesis chapter 2, verse 4. He expands on the self-sufficiency of God by describing His grace when creating us, emphasizing that one of the sole reasons God created humankind was to love and reveal himself to us, being that God himself doesn't "need" anyone or anything.

"One of the reasons God created mankind was to make himself known to us," Tommy explains to his weekly listeners.

The Tennessee preacher expands on the ideas of free will and choice when he then draws a connection to what is described as the downfall of humankind, the succumbing to temptation by Adam and Eve when God placed them in the Garden of Eden. He tells his listeners that while humankind is free to make their own choices, we are not free to choose the outcome of those choices.

As he goes deeper into the relationship between God and mankind, Tommy references this popular theological analysis of the Old Testament of the Bible: The Old Testament "shadows" many parts of the New Testament. As the relationship between God and man is described in the Old Testament, it sets the scene for Jesus Christ in the New Testament, who is God in human form.

"The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed, and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed," Tommy says.

He draws yet another fascinating comparison of both parts of the Bible when he compares the aforementioned verses, Genesis 2:20-21, to John 19:34 of the New Testament, which says, Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water, describing the correlation between Adam's side and Jesus's.

He describes Adam in the Garden of Eden as "the first Adam," and Jesus Christ as "the second Adam," telling of Jesus as mankind's redeemer and Adam's successor - being that Jesus restored what Adam lost through his ultimate sacrifice and obedience to God.

Tommy caps off his in-depth analysis of Genesis Chapter 2 by circling back to Adam and Eve, this time, discussing the concept of their marriage and companionship with one another, as he quotes Genesis 2:23: This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.

He describes Adam's excitement and rejoicing when he saw God had made Eve to help him and be with him, and expands on their partnership with one another by stating how God defines a marriage, according to Genesis 2:24: For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh.
