Noah Kahan is in the middle of his sprawling 2026 The Great Divide World Tour. While we thought his We'll All Be Here Forever run would be hard to top, he's doing a pretty darn great job so far with setlist switch-ups, new staging, special guests and more.

The bulk of his set has been fixed throughout the tour, with Kahan usually kicking things off with two stand-outs from his new album, The Great Divide - ‘American Cars’ and ’Doors’. He then brings back a fan-favourite from his Stick Season era, ‘All My Love’, before returning to the new material with ‘Deny Deny Deny’ and ‘Staying Still’.

Elsewhere during the set, Kahan has been performing other highlights from The Great Divide, such as ‘Haircut’, ‘Downfall’, ‘Dashboard’, ‘Willing and Able’, ‘Porch Light’, ‘Paid Time Off’, ‘End of August’ and, of course, the spellbinding title-track.

You can expect to hear classics too, such as ‘Northern Attitude’, ‘Homesick’, ‘Stick Season’, ‘New Perspective’, ‘Orange Juice’, ‘The View Between Villages’ and ‘Dial Drunk’.

We often get the final song on The Great Divide, ‘Dan’, added into the mix, too, with Kahan sometimes swapping this out for his haunting Stick Season track, ‘Paul Revere’.

Thankfully, Kahan has made room for his ultra-viral ode, ‘Orbiter’, in his setlist, and we're also glad to see his unreleased gem, ‘Pain Is Cold Water’, making it into his setlist from time to time. When he does perform this long-fabled song, which has never been officially released as a studio track, it's usually as the intro to ‘Maine’.

For the OG Kahan fans, ‘Maine’ is generally the only song from his pre-Stick Season material to make the cut. But if you were hoping to hear some of his older songs from albums like Busyhead and I Was / I Am, don't fret - he often performs one of these earlier tracks as part of the unofficial ‘surprise song’ portion of his set.

The folk trailblazer tends to announce which song he's going to perform as a last-minute addition via X (formerly Twitter) shortly before the show starts. So far, for instance, he's performed ‘Young Blood’, ‘Spoiled’, ‘Sink’, ‘Come Over’, ‘Godlight’, ‘Please’ and more. We've compiled a list of all the ‘surprise song’ inclusions so far.

Kahan puts on an incredible show, with the inclusion of more electric guitars across The Great Divide translating into an even more captivating and high-energy set than last year.

This project is undoubtedly a candidate for our Album of the Year, and we're glad Kahan has been performing an array of stellar tracks from the record throughout 2026 so far, while still keeping in a host of fantastic Stick Season sing-a-long anthems.
