Tim McGraw and Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard performed their new song “Undivided” as part the inauguration concert Celebrating America on Wednesday, January 20.

“When I was in quarantine with COVID-19, I got to take a good, hard look at myself,” Hubbard said, introducing their performance. “Inspired by my faith in God to reunite my country, I wrote this song and sent it to Tim.”

McGraw added, “The song’s message of unity and faith stirred my soul.” The pair performed the song in Nashville, dedicating it to healthcare and frontline workers.

McGraw first teased the song earlier in January, saying “Tyler sent me this song a few months ago and from the first time I heard it….I knew it was one I wanted to be singing for a long time.”

Hubbard contracted the coronavirus in November, and spent 13 days in quarantine. He later told People, “I wrote a bunch of songs and made the most of time.”

The Celebrating America broadcast also featured performances from Bruce Springsteen, Justin Timberlake, Foo Fighters, Katy Perry, and more.

Garth Brooks took part in the festivities earlier that day, performing “Amazing Grace” as part of Joe Biden’s presidential inauguration ceremony.

McGraw and Hubbard's new single 'Undivided' is out now via Big Machine Records. Listen to the recorded version below.
