The long-awaited premiere date for Taylor Sheridan's latest Yellowstone spin-off, Dutton Ranch, is fast-approaching, with Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser returning as the fan-favourite characters Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler on Friday (May 15th, 2026).

As the anticipation builds, we've been given a brand new teaser as to what we can expect from the series, with Annette Bening - who plays 10 Petal Ranch matriarch, Beulah Jackson - and Reilly discussing the impending feud between their characters.

The clip begins with a disgruntled Beth muttering, “F****** grizzly in Gucci”, presumably referring to Beulah, before Bening explains to camera, “Beulah is part of a long, long legacy, like many ranches in southern Texas, she inherited it from her father”.

Reilley expands, “The 10 Petal is this kind of big establishment run by the formidable [Beulah] - this incredible matriarch. And yes, we are going to be setting up sort of worthy opponent of Beth...But there is a mutual understanding of what it takes to be a woman upholding not just a business, but a legacy”.

When asked about Beulah's defining characteristics, Bening reflects, “She's tough, shrewd, desperate. She wants to save her sons. She wants to protect her granddaughter. Some of the choices that she's made have not been safe. Let's put it that way”.

Bening joins the Yellowstone universe for the first time on the Dutton Ranch cast, alongside Ed Harris, Natalie Alyn Lind, Jai Courtney and more. Finn Little, who plays Beth and Rip's adopted son, Carter, is thankfully returning to the screen for Dutton Ranch.

The eagerly awaited series will seemingly pick up where Yellowstone Season 5 left off, with Beth and Rip relocating to a Texas ranch. Despite hinting at a happy ending for the iconic couple in Yellowstone, we should have expected that these fiery characters would not be content with a peaceful retirement. Judging by the official trailer and the snippets we've seen so far, it looks like Beth and Rip will be attracting more of the drama and chaos we witnessed throughout Yellowstone.
