Brian Kelley has unveiled his new album, Coral Beats, featuring recent singles ‘Jimmy Buffett Summer’ and ‘B-Y-O-Beach’ with Niko Moon. Coral Beats arrives on August 14th.

BK has also shared the fun, playful artwork, in which a cartoon Seahorse donning shades and a cowboy hat can be seen DJ-ing amid a coral seabed. If this is any indication of the light-hearted, tropically-minded and Jimmy Buffett-inspired ‘Beach Cowboy’ anthems to come on Coral Beats, we can't wait to hear the full project.

In addition, BK reveals he'll be flying a lucky fan to his next Surf Post Sessions, “My new album, ‘Coral Beats,’ is out August 14th!!! As well as collaborating Niko Moon on the infectious, sun-soaked ‘B-Y-O-Beach’, Coral Beats will see Kelley linking up with ERNEST for ‘Palms and Pines’, the Wheeland Brothers for ‘Waves Roll In’ and CHXNDLER for ‘Beach Bar’. What's more, we can look forward to hearing a new remix of the ‘Boat Names’ crooner's uplifting single, ‘Jimmy Buffett Summer’, which Holler proudly premiered in June.

These are joined by never-heard-before offerings such as ‘Bike With No Hands’, ‘Low Tide High’, ‘1000 Islands’ and ‘Tropical’, with these song-titles seemingly cementing the idea that this album will find BK embracing his ‘Beach Cowboy’ persona.

The only surprise, in this case, is that the Floridian has decided not to call it Sunshine State Of Mind, Season Three, following on from his previous summery projects.

Sunshine State Of Mind, Season One remains one of this writer's favourite modern country records, with the project showcasing BK's ability to pen an earworm hook while painting vibrant vignettes of rolling waves, serene sunsets and bright white sand.

Either way, we're excited to hear Coral Beats in just over a week's time. With BK and Tyler Hubbard continuing to tease a 2027 Florida Georgia Line tour following their momentous reunion at CMA Fest 2026, we're wondering if this might be Kelley's last solo project before he and THubb turn their attention towards new FGL music. Or, alternatively, perhaps the duo have plans to incorporate solo material into their live shows next year - a prospect that would no doubt appeal to many.
