It seems Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley have heard fans’ calls for a new tour from Florida Georgia Line, with THubb sharing via US99 Chicago that they are plotting some 2027 shows.
When asked what he can share at this point about he and BK are planning to follow up their surprise FGL reunion at CMA Fest 2026, Hubbard responds, “I would say we got some things in the works for next year. We're excited, BK and I have been hanging out, having a good time, and you know, kind of itching to get back on-stage”.
The ‘5 foot 9’ hitmaker suggests that they are currently plotting a 2027 run, “So we'll probably put some shows together next year, and that's about as much as we've planned at this point. But we're both excited, it's gonna be a fun year next year”.
Hubbard goes on to stress how special it was seeing how their emotional reunion at Nashville's Nissan Stadium sent ripples across the country music community and beyond, both for attendees and fans online, “Yeah it was cool, it was a great moment. It was kind of that moment where it felt like everyone around us and the fans and everyone online got to experience the power and the healing that BK and I have been getting to experience for the last year or so. Yeah, it was cool”.
Hubbard makes an important point, because he and BK reuniting did indeed feel like a moment of healing for them, but also emblematic of a kind of love and forgiveness that often feels unobtainable in the modern world. THubb and BK have had a fractured relationship since FGL split in 2022, with both artists airing out the duo's dirty laundry via interviews, leading many to believe they'd never be friends again.
But as Hubbard highlights here, their on-stage link-up is the result of both artists putting in the work to rebuild their friendship, and ultimately, prioritising this over any kind of musical or commercial aspirations for a Florida Georgia Line comeback.
It's thus heartwarming to see that their bond appears to be fully restored, with the trailblazing duo planning to return to the road in 2027. As far as new music from FGL, there remains a big question mark, with both Hubbard and Kelley continuing to share new solo material. Given the singles they've been teasing of late, we suspect that they each have albums in the works. Then, perhaps once these have arrived this year, they can turn their attention to recording new music as FGL.
