For the first time in 5 years, country music duo Florida Georgia Line has changed their profile picture across social media.
Following their announcement coming freshly off of a hiatus since 2022, Florida Georgia Line has been teasing bits of their official return across social medias all summer.
Today, the ex-duo (though, maybe not so 'ex' anymore) changed their profile picture to an image of them kicking back next to each other on stadium seats and posted the same photo to their Instagram story, with a link attached for fans to sign up for their SMS text list.
When fans sign up to receive texts, a FGL contact card is sent straight to their phone number, with a message that reads "Turns out, some things are just better together. Much more to come. FGL LFG"
After an exciting meetup at the 2026 CMA Fest, where they met across Nissan Stadium in Nashville to shock the current country music world by singing their 2013 hit 'Round Here,' and then their upbeat summertime anthem 'Cruise,' Tyler Hubbard and Bryan Kelley have spent time master-planning their official launch back into the country music scene as the iconic 2010s duo.
For the sake of tracking the two, and delving into the rest of their social media, Hubbard and Kelley have also spent time with Spotify over the summer, running promotional deals and posting curated bits of their CMA Fest hype.
The 'Anything Goes' crooners also sent out a rather cryptic text that further awakened FGL fans out of their 4-year long feel-good country comas. The text, sent in August, reads "Y'all got plans in 2027? Asking for a couple of friends. LFG" with a link taking fans immediately to the duo's Bandsintown page, where they could suggest different tour locations.
The recent teasing of a 2027 tour, followed by today's abrupt change in their social media look, causes this writer to present one argument, and one argument only: Florida Georgia Line's 2027 tour announcement is approaching sooner than we think.
