As he gears up to watch France and Spain's FIFA World Cup 2026 clash tonight (Tuesday, July 14th), David Beckham has shared a playful photo of him donning a cowboy hat.

The England football legend has accompanied the image with the tongue-in-cheek caption, “Nice warm welcome to Dallas How do I look Cole Hauser ?? Stetson thank you”.

Beckham and Hauser chatted about the latter's role in Yellowstone and Dutton Ranch during an earlier pre-World Cup conversation on ParamountPlus, with Beckham joking about how he suddenly decided to dress differently after watching the neo-Western.

In the comments of Beckham's new post, Hauser quips, “Haha! Looking like Texas gangster. Enjoy!” Now, fans are hilariously calling for a Dutton Ranch cameo from Beckham.

During their earlier conversation on ParamountPlus, Beckham admitted to feeling a little starstruck at getting to hang out with Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler in Taylor Sheridan's hit series, the formidable ranch foreman and husband of Beth Dutton.

Beckham confessed, “I'm trying to stay calm right now. When Rip's in the room, I'm like...Honestly, when Yellowstone came out, you know, me and Victoria always watch different series. I think it's one of the most beautifully shot series of all time”.

Beckham stressed, “One of the greatest series of all time. So I'm a huge fan”, before smiling as he revealed, “My whole wardrobe changed when Yellowstone came into our lives”.

Hauser cheekily remarked that Beckham could do with some proper boot cut jeans, with the footballing icon then sharing how he was particularly moved by Rip and Beth's visceral love story, “But I love the show so much. Obviously, millions of people did. And I love Cole's character because there was that toughness, but I think the love that he had for Beth, I think it's like no other. And you really felt it”.

It's true that this duo's slow-burning romance, with Beth and Rip having to overcome innumerable and seemingly insurmountable hurdles before taking over their own ranch, was a cornerstone of the original Yellowstone series. Now, on Dutton Ranch, we get to enjoy the continuation of their love-story in the new setting of Texas.

We imagine, though, that this evening's face-off between two titans of modern football, France and Spain, will produce 90 minutes of drama that even Taylor Sheridan couldn't think up.
