Colt Ford has shared a statement after being involved in a tour-bus crash while in Europe. The ‘Workin‘ On’ hitmaker also reveals that he broke his shoulder during the incident.

Alongside a photo of the bus, Ford reflects, “One minute you’re headed to Germany for a show and prepping for single release the next thing you know your Bus is in the ditch and you’re getting pulled through a windshield with a broken shoulder by First Responders. The crew is a little banged up but we’re all still here”.

Ford is due to perform at Tailgate X in Ballenstedt, Germany on Saturday, August 15th, but at present, it's yet to be confirmed whether the injury will stop him from performing.

A number of fellow artists have taken to the comments to send love to Ford and his team following the accident, with LOCASH sharing, ‘Praying for you and your whole crew brother”, while Drew Baldridge offers, “Dang Man! So glad y'all are okay!”

Similarly, Josh Ross has commented, “Thinking of yall. Crazy!”, while Jake Owen has responded to Ford's post, “Glad yall are okay dude. You have endured some life. love ya”. Uncle Kracker echoes these sentiments, sharing, “Praying for you and your crew homie”. Meg Patrick underlines that she and her husband Mitchell Tenpenny are sending prayers, “While I am so relieved you're alive, I am so sorry for all of this brother. You've had more than your share of hard times and Mitchell and I are praying for you. Here to help any way we can, love you buddy”.

Owen's comments about Ford having “endured some life” is likely a reference to the fact that the ‘Crank It Up’ crooner suffered a near-fatal heart attack at an Arizona show in 2024.

He opened up about the experience with Mayo Clinic shortly after, “I couldn't have been anymore on death's door. I died twice that day. When one of the top heart doctors in the world looks at you and goes, 'You're 1% of 1%,' it can't get more dire than that”.

Both Ford and his loyal overseas fanbase will no doubt be hoping he's still able to perform at Tailgate X, but judging by some of the comments from people linked to the festival, it seems this is looking unlikely. We imagine they'll make a statement either reassuring fans he'll still be performing or that he'll be unable to play today (August 14th).
