Ella Langley surprised fans at Stagecoach Festival this past weekend with a light-hearted duet with comedian, Theo Von, and fans are now convinced the duo are dating.
The on-stage link-up in California came just a couple of weeks after Langley stopped by Von's podcast, This Past Weekend, to discuss into her latest studio album, Dandelion.
During that conversation, fans were already taking to the comments section to encourage the couple to become an item, particularly given Von's not-so-subtle flirting when Langley handed him her phone, and he playfully responded, “I'll just put my number in here. Sorry! Sorry, I just got taken over by the devil”.
This unexpected Stagecoach duet has once again sparked the rumour bill, with the internet currently abuzz as fans wonder whether Langley and Von really are dating as they'd hoped.
It's not the first time Langley has found herself at the centre of speculation regarding her dating life, with the ‘Choosin’ Texas’ hitmaker romantically linked to Riley Green throughout the rollouts for their hit singles, ‘you look like you love me’ and ‘Don't Mind If I Do’. More recently, TikTok sleuths have been claiming Langley and Tucker Wetmore might be in a relationship, following photos of the duo holidaying together, with some online commentators even declaring that Langley and Wallen are together, due to their new collaboration, ‘I Can't Love You Anymore’.
It's the latest example of female artists being subjected to more intense scrutiny regarding their personal lives compared to their male counterparts, something Langley has addressed in the past when joking that she finds out who she's dating whenever she logs onto Instagram. Of course, we'd rather fans just focussed on the music, but as some artists - like Green - have explained in recent interviews, if all the conjecture means more people find the music, then it's not all bad.
We're not sure that there's any truth to these new rumours regarding Langley and Von, as we reckon the duo are simply good friends and wanted to create an amusing, memorable moment during the former's blockbuster Stagecoach Festival 2026 set. Hopefully, if nothing else, all the fanfare around the duo's Indio duet ends up guiding more listeners in the direction of Langley's brilliant new album, Dandelion, which has just secured a second week atop the all-genre Billboard 200.
