Once again, Ella Langley's ‘Choosin‘ Texas’ reigns supreme atop the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart, marking the unstoppable single's fifth nonconsecutive week at No. 1 on the radio ranking.
For the frame dated Dec. 12 to Dec. 18, Langley's Lone Star State-sized hit garnered 1.27 million impressions across 112 plays, besting the chart's No. 2 song, Russell Dickerson's 'Worth Your Wild'.
For the last few weeks, the chart's Top Five has been dominated by the Langley and Dickerson tunes, as well as Thomas Rhett and Niall Horan's 'Old Tricks' and Cody Johnson's 'The Fall', which now sit at No. 3 and No. 4 respectively. This week, Carly Pearce's 'Dream Come True' has leapt into the No. 5 spot.
The chart's biggest move this week was seen by Luke Combs' 'Giving Her Away'. It surged from its position at No. 64 last week into the No. 24 slot, seeing a 122% trend increase.
There is only one new entry in the Top 50 this week, with Lady A's 'Last Christmas' coming in No. 42. Impressively, Tucker Wetmore has three songs on the chart this week, his viral hit, 'Brunette', his fan-favorite, '3,2,1', and his latest single, 'Proving Me Right', all residing within the Top 30.
