Ella Langley has notched her fourth week at No. 1 on the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart, with her tempestuous earworm, ‘weren't for the wind’, holding onto the top spot during the latest frame, dated from Friday, May 16th to Thursday, May 22nd.

The infectious track, which finds Elle Langley stepping into the shoes of a protagonist who yearns to chase the sunset and never stay in one place, appears on the 2025 ACM New Female Artist of the Year's lauded 2024 still hungover deluxe album.

It's the Alabama native's second UK Country Radio Airplay Chart No. 1, following ‘you look like you love me’ with Riley Green, which leapt to the pinnacle in July 2024.

This week, ‘weren't for the wind’ amasses a tally of 986,617 impressions, marking a sizeable 31% increase compared to last week. It sees off competition from previous chart-topper, Eric Church's ‘Hands Of Time’, which has to settle for No. 2.

Completing the Top Five is Jelly Roll's ‘Heart Of Stone’, which reaches a new peak of No. 3, along with Tucker Wetmore's ‘3,2,1’ and Blake Shelton's ‘Texas’ at No. 4 and 5 respectively.

The biggest mover this week is Megan Moroney and Kenny Chesney's heartwarming, nostalgic collaboration, ‘You Had To Be There’, which surges 433% to land at No. 23.

This week also features a couple of new entries from Morgan Wallen, including his blockbuster collaboration with Tate McRae, ‘What I Want’, taken from Wallen's stellar new studio album, I'm the Problem. The pop-infused anthem, which marks Wallen's first ever female duet, debuts at No. 22, while the latest frame also sees another stand-out from I'm the Problem, ‘TN‘, opening its account at No. 46.
