In terms of how it was teased, a handful of artists shared Luke Combs covers across socials with easter eggs in the background hinting at which shows they'll be at.
First, we got Thomas Rhett performing ‘Better Together’ in an England FC jersey, indicating he'll be opening for Combs at Wembley Stadium. Soon after, the official Wembley page shared a brief clip featuring Combs’ signature skull and beard logo.
Then, Dierks Bentley joined in on the fun, uploading a cover of Combs’ ’When It Rains It Pours’ with a Tennessee Volunteers helmet in the background. Neyland Stadium - the home of the Vols - have shared a similar video to Wembley, seemingly confirming Combs will be performing at Neyland in 2026, with Bentley due to open. It will mark the first concert here since Morgan Wallen's show last year.
Then, pop-rock band The Script surprised followers by sharing a video of their frontman, Danny O’Donoghue, covering Combs’ iconic hit, ‘Beautiful Crazy’. This clip contains more easter eggs than any of the others, with O’Donoghue performing in three different jerseys and in front of three different pubs throughout the video.
First, he dons a Netherlands FC shirt and stands in front of De Hems - a famous Dutch pub in London - before he transitions into a Germany FC jersey with a German beer-garden, Bermondsey Bierkeller, serving as the backdrop. Lastly, the ‘Breakeven’ singer-songwriter performs in an Ireland jersey in front of the much-loved Connolly's Bar in Chiswick, an Irish pub. As well as implying The Script would be opening for Combs in Holland and Ireland, the fact that all of these pubs were based in London, UK implied that the band would also be joining Thomas Rhett as Combs’ openers for his momentous Wembley Stadium show. This is not the case.
More recently, fast-emerging trio The Castellows shared a cover of Luke Combs’ ‘Where the Wild Things Are’, with Elli wearing a ‘London’ sweatshirt and Lily donning an ‘Amsterdam’ sweatshirt. The Castellows will indeed be opening for Combs at Wembley Stadium alongside TR, as well as performing at his Netherlands tour-stop. The venue for the latter is yet to be teased.
As well as The Script, Dierks Bentley and Thomas Rhett, Ty Myers shared a cover of Luke Combs’ This One's For You deep-cut, ‘I Got Away with You’. There was a Las Vegas Raiders helmet on a shelf behind him, signalling Myers would be opening for Combs at Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium next year. The official Allegiant Stadium Instagram page shared a teaser video with Combs’ logo lit up on the top of the venue, seemingly confirming our suspicions that he'll be playing here in 2026.
Since then, we've been treated a clip from John Teskey of The Teskey Brothers performing Combs’ ‘Ain't No Love in Oklahoma‘, suggesting they will be one of the openers - perhaps for the Oklahoma tour-stop, given the name of their chosen cover-song - as well as a cover of ‘Fast Car’ by Thelma & James. The latter had a couple of helmets in front of them, seemingly belonging to the University of Virginia Cavaliers and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish respectively, indicating Thelma & James would be opening up Combs’ shows at Scott Stadium and Notre Dame.
Jake Worthington then entered the fray, too, with the neo-traditional crooner performing Combs’ honky-tonkin’ new single, ’My Kinda Saturday’, which lends its name to the tour. Worthington was flanked by both an Oklahoma Sooners and an Iowa State University Athletics helmet, he'll be opening up for Combs at the Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium and the Jack Trice Stadium.
A host of other venue pages on Instagram joined in on the teasing, including a range of iconic European stadiums and sites, such as Scotland's Murrayfield Stadium, Ireland's Slane Castle, France’s Accor Arena and Sweden's Ullevi.
It's safe to say the excitement is through the roof, with Combs and his team expertly managing the rollout so far. Over the past couple of years, the ‘Hurricane’ hitmaker has lost his country crown to Morgan Wallen, and has slipped down the pecking order behind Zach Bryan.
Now, judging by the scale of this 2026 tour and the prospect of another album arriving in tandem with this, it looks like Combs is setting out to reassert his dominance over the country landscape.
