Gabby Barrett, Kid Rock, Lee Brice and Brantley Gilbert to Headline Alternative ‘All-American Super Bowl Half-Time Show’

The official line-up for Turning Point USA's alternative All-American Super Bowl Half-Time Show has been confirmed, with four country artists set to headline the controversial event.

Hosted by the conservative organisation, the All-American Super Bowl Half-Time Show will feature performances from Gabby Barrett, Kid Rock, Lee Brice and Brantley Gilbert.

The event is being billed as a celebration of “faith, family and freedom”, and is designed to rival Bad Bunny's official Super Bowl half-time performance on Sunday, February 8th. Turning Point USA's alternative event will live-stream via the group's socials.

Kid Rock is a close friend of President Trump, who has been critical of the NFL's decision to choose Bad Bunny as the 2026 Super Bowl performer, with the ‘MIA’ hitmaker a longstanding Trump detractor. Many on the right have doubled down on their denigration of Bad Bunny after the Puerto Rican phenom spoke out against the Trump administration's ICE immigration raids at the GRAMMYs on Sunday.

In an official statement, Kid Rock remarks, “We're approaching this show like David and Goliath. Competing with the pro football machine and a global pop superstar is almost impossible…or is it? He's said he's having a dance party, wearing a dress, and singing in Spanish? Cool. We plan to play great songs for folks who love America”.

Many commentators are highlighting that Kid Rock and his fellow All-American Half-Time Show performers will face an uphill battle, if there are attempting to eclipse Bad Bunny's eagerly anticipated Super Bowl Half-Time performance at California's Levi's Stadium.

The latter remains the most streamed artist on the planet. Bad Bunny brings in almost 83 million Spotify listeners per month. By contrast, if you combine the figures of the four Turning Point USA headliners, it amounts to roughly 16 million monthly listeners.

This isn't the first time the NFL has had to contend with counter-programming against the Super Bowl, but it certainly feels like one of the most politically charged in recent memory.

The All-American Half-Time Show is announced against a backdrop of increasingly vocal protests against the Trump administration's ICE immigration raids, which have only intensified following the deaths of citizens such as Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Given this political context - and given the fact that Kid Rock is a high-profile ally of President Trump - many are viewing the Bad Bunny vs Turning Point USA battle as symbolic of the broader division between those supporting the Trump administration's contentious immigration policy, and those who continue to condemn the ICE raids.
