Country pop singer, Kelsea Ballerini, has shared a carousel of her New York life, including a picture of her in hospital.

Ballerini has been in NYC for the past five months, navigating this ‘season’ of her life. Her most recent social media update contained snapshots of laughter, friends and some special moments at her favourite watering hole, ‘Flaming Saddles Saloon’.

But some keen-eyed fans spotted a picture of something she’s kept extremely quiet about. A picture of what appears to be her in a hospital gown next to a hospital bed.

One user, missmemore, commented: “ily & ur thriving BUT I have questions & concerns about slide 16”.

Ballerini was quick to respond. “Like i said, one day ill tell you the story of the girl in new york ❤️,” she shared, echoing a caption from a previous post, “(but im fine and everything’s fine haha)”.

With a relatively quiet summer of music, the ‘Patterns’ singer also noted that she’d written some of her favourite songs in New York and was “leaving it better than it found me”.

Ballerini hasn’t confirmed anything further but her comments and recent updates suggest that she’s edging closer to sharing this chapter. So for now, we’ll wait patiently for the story of the girl in New York.
