After months of anticipation, Jason Aldean has released his 12th studio album, Songs About Us, featuring the popular duet with his wife, Brittany Aldean, ‘Easier Gone’, along with collaborations with country heavyweights, Luke Bryan and David Lee Murphy.

The latter features on a deftly reimagined version of Lee Murphy's iconic ‘90s anthem, ‘Dust on the Bottle’, one of the album's many stand-outs, and evidence of the importance Aldean continues to place on honouring the greats that have gone before him.

Similarly, the title-track - featuring Aldean's good buddy Bryan - is a simmering, dramatic ode to country living, with the duo trading verses about the joys of life in the sticks.

Speaking ahead of the album's arrival, the ‘Dirt Road Anthem’ hitmaker explains what he drew on as his primary inspiration when whittling down this collection of songs.

Aldean underlines that Songs About Us - as the title hints - is designed to be a day-to-day soundtrack for fans, “It means the world when one of my songs helps someone through a hard time - or celebrates their best moments. This album is about all of that - the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Every track started with a real story or feeling, and together we turned those experiences into music. In the end, I realized this album is about all of us. These are songs about us”.

The project also features the much-loved lead single, ‘How Far Does a Goodbye Go’, which soared to the pinnacle of the Billboard Country Airplay Chart back in February. The soulful, traditional-leaning track marked Aldean's 26th No. 1 on the listing.

With an expansive 2026 Songs About Us Tour on the horizon, fans will no doubt be excitedly devouring these new body of work and looking forward to hearing them played live.

Songs About Us consolidates the Georgia native's status as one of modern country's most popular artists. 12 albums in, rest assured Aldean is showing no signs of slowing down.
