Megan Moroney has offered her secret recipe when it comes to clearing up your skin, with the ‘Who Hurt You?’ hitmaker's words of wisdom also serving as great relationship advice.
During her conversation with Cosmopolitan, Moroney is asked, “What's your secret to perfect skin?”, to which the Georgia native briefly pauses, before smiling as she comes up with her answer: “Getting loser men out of your life will clear up your skin”.
Moroney playfully goes on, “Because about a year ago, my skin was, like, all broken out, and then I got rid of them, and then, like - boom. Clear skin. Beautiful, glowing, shining”.
The ‘Tennessee Orange’ singer-songwriter concludes with one extra tip, which is perhaps a little more practical, “Get the stressful men out of your life - and wash your face”.
Elsewhere during her interview - as well as revealing ‘Who Hurt You?’ was about Riley Green and her thoughts on a Taylor Swift duet - Moroney reflects more seriously on her current approach to skincare and make-up, underlining that she plans to one day explore a stylistic chapter of her career where she wears little make-up.
Moroney muses, “I would love to have an era where I wear my hair natural and less makeup because offstage, this is what you’re gonna see, and my fans know that”.
She toastes her fans, and stresses how she wants them to see all sides of her, “What is cool about my career and my fans is they feel like they know me through social media and they know that I don’t always look like this -having pounds of extensions on my head. I always say, too, if you can recognize me when I’m natural, you deserve a picture. I’m never gonna be mad at you for asking me for a photo if you can recognize me without all the makeup and hair. You’re a true fan”.
Moroney is currently in the middle of her hugely popular Cloud 9 Tour, in promotion of her album of the same name, with the ‘Break It Right Back’ crooner continuing to cement herself as one of the biggest names in the modern country space.
