Mumford & Sons serenaded New York with fan-favourite songs like ‘I Will Wait’, ‘Here’ and more, with the British folk band performing at the TODAY Show's Citi Concert Series.

The chart-topping trio - consisting of Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett and Ted Dwane - have cemented themselves as one of the leading artists in the folk-rock space, with Mumford & Sons consolidating that position with their stellar new album, Prizefighter.

Fans hoping to attend the latest Citi Concert Series event had been queuing up from as early as 4am in order to get into the show, with the band kicking off early at roughly 9am.

‘Here’ was undoubtedly a stand-out moment in their performance, with the ‘Little Lion Man’ troubadours releasing two versions of the uplifting, soulful track with Chris Stapleton and Sierra Ferrell. The latter has been joining them across their 2026 tour.

It marks the latest high-profile set from the Mumford trio, following a summer of spectacular concerts on their Prizefighter World Tour, including a headline set at London's BST Hyde Park - which featured cameos from Shania Twain, Hozier and Stella Lefty - as well as shows at iconic US venues, such as Fenway Park and Wrigley Field.

Next up, Mumford & Sons bring their arsenal of stomp-and-holler earworms and beautifully pared-down anthems to Mystic Lake Amphitheater in Shakopee, Minnesota.
