Ronnie Wood from The Rolling Stones has been unveiled as the replacement Saturday night headliner at The Long Road Festival, after Bailey Zimmerman withdrew last week.

Zimmerman confirmed he would be cancelling all his 2026 UK and Europe shows, including The Long Road Festival, in order to focus on “important family matters”. The ‘Back-Up Plan’ hitmaker later reassured fans that his family were doing okay.

Now, The Long Road Festival has announced Ronnie Wood, longstanding guitarist for The Rolling Stones, as Zimmerman's replacement. Wood will perform alongside his band, with revered singer-songwriter Imelda May joining him as a special guest.

The Long Road Festival has shared the news across all socials channels today (August 3rd), “We’ve called everyone we know from Nashville to London and Ronnie Wood from The Rolling Stones has picked up the phone...Ronnie Wood and his band, featuring Imelda May, will headline the Saturday night of The Long Road 2026”.

The festival pays tribute to Wood's legacy, “A true icon, Ronnie has spent decades creating unforgettable music with The Rolling Stones, Faces and countless more. He draws from a rich heritage of blues, roots and Americana and anyone who calls themselves a rock star owes more than a little to his influence. His sound is at the heart of the rich musical traditions we celebrate at The Long Road”.

The official statement concludes, “We can’t wait to welcome Ronnie, his band and Imelda to Stanford Hall this August Bank Holiday, playing a set comprised of songs from his rich catalogue including The Rolling Stones, Faces and his own solo projects”.

The Long Road Festival is set to take place across August 27th to 30th, with Wood joined by fellow headliners The Shires and Maren Morris. Attendees will also be able to witness sets from the likes of Josh Ross, Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris, The 502s, Anne Wilson, Shakey Graves, Shaylen, Rose Betts, First Time Flyers and many more.
