In her new Rolling Stone feature, Sabrina Carpenter has shed some light on her unstoppable ascent over the past twelve months or so, following the explosive success of anthems such as ‘Espresso’, ‘Taste’, ‘Bed Chem’ and ’Please, Please, Please’.

In February, Sabrina Carpenter highlighted her status as one of today's biggest popstars by recruiting country legend, Dolly Parton, for the remix of ‘Please, Please, Please’, with Parton heartwarmingly paying homage to Carpenter as part of the new RS feature.

The ‘9 to 5’ icon gushed about Carpenter, “Our voices are very similar”, before going on to emphasise how she feels a connection with the Pennsylvania native, “I can’t tell sometimes which part’s her and which part’s me. And we look like relatives. She looks like she could be my little sister. We’re little women, doing big things”.

Elsewhere during the insightful interview, Sabrina Carpenter delves into the creation of her highly anticipated new studio album, Man's Best Friend, which drops on August 29th.

It follows the arrival of the infectious, wildly popular new single, ‘Manchild’. The music video finds Sabrina Carpenter tipping her cap to country music with a strong Wild West theme.

Carpenter remains a respected figure within the country landscape, with a host of artists such as Eric Church, Lukas Nelson and Ian Munsick covering her music in recent months.
